“It’s always women trolling other women for me!” she retorted, highlighting the pressure divorced women face to keep silent or feel ashamed rather than live on their own terms. She also noted the cultural differences between her upbringing in Europe and some perspectives in Africa.

“Sis, you ain’t gonna troll me for choosing peace over riches,” she added, implying that her decision to prioritize her well-being and peace of mind over staying in a financially advantageous yet troubled marriage was a choice she stands by.

Her response to the troll did not end there. Sonia added a sharp personal critique, advising the troll to “fix your roof,” and continued to disparage her by suggesting she’d missed out on potential help due to her “smelling mouth.”
