Netizens React to Viral Photo of Alpha Hour Workers Counting Money After Church Service

Published on

, Ghana Street Journal

After one of Pastor Elvis Agyemang’s services, his finance officers were captured in a photo that has gone viral counting large amounts of money with several money-counting machines in the background.

The Grace Mountain Ministry’s founder has been accused of using the Bible and the name of God to force his congregation into giving him money.

His critics have concluded that the true motivation behind alpha hour prayers online is to extort money out of gullible believers in exchange for fake miracles, breakthroughs, miraculous healings, career advancements, visa acquisitions, and so on.

Those who defended him also argued that he spent money to organize the 31st-night cross-over service at the Obuasi Elwak sports stadium.

They talked about the over 20,000 Chairs, extra field lights, payment of rent for the venue, sound, lights, bands men, the ambulance and fire service, etc.
