“Everybody should be steadfast to ensure a peaceful election, and when your party loses this 2024 election, just be calm,” he advised, stressing the importance of maintaining national unity regardless of political outcomes.
Ampong expressed unwavering confidence in his prediction of an NDC loss, adding, “We know that by all means, the NDC will lose this election, so they should start preparing their minds towards that and be patient.”
Adding a touch of humour to his remarks, he suggested that the defeat might leave some NDC supporters emotionally unsettled.
“I urge NDC members who don’t have T-roll to start finding some to buy because very soon, most of them will be experiencing a runny stomach,” he said, eliciting a mixture of laughter and criticism from listeners.
