The French Embassy has officially confirmed that Sarkodie, King Promise, and Darkovibes will represent Ghana at the Africa Fan Zone concert during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Along with expressing their support for Team Ghana, the embassy also revealed a generous sponsorship of €20,000.
The Africa Fan Zone is anticipated to draw a wide range of attendees, including athletes, fans, and international visitors.
With the mainstream Ghanaian trio headlining the concert, attendees can expect exceptional performances that will leave a lasting impact. The event is set to take place on August 10th.
This statement provides further details on a previous announcement regarding Sarkodie’s scheduled appearance at the 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony, which had been extensively covered by multiple entertainment news sources a few days ago.
DJ Mensah had made this statement but later clarified that Sarkodie was not performing at the main event of the Olympic games.
Some netizens confronted him for hyping his boss Sarkodie with lies.
Mensah hit back by expressing his frustration at the misinterpretation of his words, particularly by individuals accusing him of exaggerating his artists’ achievements with false information.
The award-winning Disc Jockey mentioned that Sarkodie’s event in Paris would coincide with the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games.
