John Dramani Mahama has taken to his official Facebook page to commiserate with the family of James Lutterodt over his sad demise.

According to a report previously filed by this portal, Tru News Report, the young man who together with Francisca Lamini, and Bright Senyo Godzo, hoisted the flag of Keta Senior High School (Ketasco) very high with their remarkable performance during the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz, died days ago over suspected food poison.

According to reports, he was also reportedly planning to leave Ghana and continue his study in the United States of America when the tragedy, which is still under investigation, occurred.

While several Ghanaians stormed social media to mourn him, the former president of the Republic of Ghana and flagbearer of the biggest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Dramani Mahama took to his Facebook page to ooze a touching tribute to the young chap.

He shared the message thus;

Sad to hear about the death of James Lutterodt, a former student of Keta SHS. We all fondly recall the sterling performance of James and his colleagues in the NSMQ in 2021. Even though they did not win the ultimate prize, it was such a joy to watch the trio from Ketasco.

Our hearts go out to his parents, family, friends, and schoolmates. You are not alone during this difficult time. James will always hold a special place in our hearts. His passing at such a young age is truly heartbreaking.
