Forget About Bawumia, NPP Is Going To Opposition- Kumchacha Predicts

The leader and founder of Heaven’s Gate Ministries, Prophet Nicholas Osei, commonly referred to as Kumchacha, has emphasized that regardless of who leads the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), they will inevitably face opposition in the upcoming year.

In order to emphasize the significance of his assertion, Kumchacha has declared that he will cease his pastoral duties if the NPP emerges victorious in the 2024 elections.

Kumchacha further highlighted that the current Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has held this position without any noticeable impact, thus implying that his ascension to the presidency would be futile for the nation.

“I’ve said this on several platforms, and I will continue to say that in 2024 if it is Ken or Bawumia, I’ve said that the NPP will go into opposition. If we vote in 2024 and the NPP is retained in power, I will stop my pastoral work,” he said.

He continued, “I wanted Hon. Ken to come. This is because Bawumia does not have the weight to contest. I believe that I am the best candidate, and if I’m not voted for, they should vote for Kyiriabosom because we have tried the NDC and the NPP and have not made any progress”.

“Bawumia has been a vice president all these years, and nothing has changed about Ghana. This government has subjected the people of Ghana to a lot of hardship and pain while they live on their high horses. Even Kennedy Agyapong, who contested, knows that they will lose in 2024. He is preparing himself for 2032,” he said on Accra-based UTV.

Meanwhile, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President, has been chosen to serve as the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2024 election, with 61.43% of all votes cast being valid.

Though it was anticipated that Bawumia would triumph by a wider margin, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong delivered the ‘showdown‘ he promised.

Assin Central MP Ken Agyapong finished in second place with 37.41%. Francis Addai Nimoh finished last with 0.41%, and Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto came in third with 0.76%.
