A stripper in Miami, Florida, was recently charged with fraud for allegedly stealing $62,000 from an intoxicated customer following a lap performance.

According to reports, the exotic dancer, identified as 34-year-old Yannelin Rivera-Bosaw, was one of several women who performed lap dances for an unidentified male customer in ‘Playmates’ private VIP room on Friday, June 16th.

According to the club’s website, it is “the best strip club in Coral Gables,” which is located approximately 7 miles from downtown Miami.

Police says the male victim was told that his dances and beverages were “on the house” as a multitude of women approached him with sultry dances and tequila shots. Apparently, the man’s alcohol consumption rendered him incapable of standing.

While her comrades kept their target’s attention on their gyrating bodies and tequila bottles, Rivera-Bosaw worked to steal his phone and wallet. Police reported that it was approximately 4:00 a.m. when the man was finally able to regain his balance and leave.

Eventually, he realised that he could not locate his missing goods. Therefore, he promptly checked his accounts and discovered that six unauthorised PayPal withdrawals had been made to an unknown account.

He also discovered several transactions on his Wells Fargo, Chase, and American Express credit cards. In a matter of hours, his cards suffered $62,345 in total damage.

After regaining his composure and sobriety, the victim realised Rivera-Bosaw had placed her phone number on his mobile phone so she could process payments to herself. After making the connection, he contacted the police to report the incident.

The stripper was arrested and charged with a number of fraud-related offences, including participation in an organised conspiracy to defraud, fraudulent use of a credit card for $100 or more, and grand theft.

When interrogated by police detectives, she admitted initiating the transactions but insisted that the man was the one who authorised them.

During the course of their investigation, detectives quickly discovered text messages she sent to her spouse and a friend in which she complained about the victim cancelling one of her PayPal transfers.
Police also discovered additional evidence on Rivera-Bosaw’s phone that revealed she sold illicit growth hormone and steroids to club customers.

Consequently, she also got charged with the illegal sale of narcotics.
