In response to widespread rumours that Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah’s residence had caught fire, the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) has officially set the record straight.
According to Alex King Nartey, the social media representative for the GNFS, the reports are misleading, as the property involved was not Jackie Appiah’s mansion.
Nartey explained that the building that caught fire was, in fact, a smaller structure adjacent to Appiah’s home.
This building, he clarified, is a studio owned by Samira, Jackie Appiah’s manager, not the actress herself.
“After confirming from our responding crew, the affected house belongs to Madam Samira, Jackie Appiah’s manager, and it was the cinema room of the house that got affected by the fire,” Nartey revealed in his statement.
The fire, which had ignited speculation and concern among fans of the actress, has now been confirmed to have caused damage only to the cinema room of the studio.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the main residence of the beloved actress remains untouched.
This clarification from the GNFS puts an end to the swirling rumours that had led many to believe that Jackie Appiah’s luxurious mansion had been engulfed in flames.
While the fire did impact property owned by her manager, it did not extend to Appiah’s home, allowing the actress and her fans to breathe a collective sigh of relief.
In the aftermath of the incident, there has been no official comment from Jackie Appiah herself, but the GNFS has assured the public that the situation was handled promptly, with fire crews responding swiftly to contain the blaze.
