In a remarkable feat that has garnered national pride, Ghanaian woman Felicity Asantewaa has officially secured her place in the Guinness World Records for washing the most cars by an individual in eight hours.
Her achievement was celebrated following an intense challenge on March 9, 2024, held at the East Legon Executive Club in Accra, where she washed an impressive 60 cars, surpassing the previous record by five vehicles.
Felicity’s “wash-car-a-thon” drew large crowds of supporters who eagerly gathered to witness her extraordinary accomplishment.
Her determination and skill not only showcased her talent but also inspired many who cheered her on throughout the day.
In July 2024, the prestigious Guinness World Records official website confirmed her remarkable achievement, declaring her the new record holder.
The recognition marked a significant milestone in Felicity’s journey, and by September 2024, she received her official certificate from the organization, further solidifying her status.
Guinness World Records is a global reference book published annually, which catalogues and verifies a wide range of world records across various categories, including human achievements, natural wonders, and unique feats.
