The family of the man and his son, who were severely affected by the accident involving Lilwin, have urged the police to arrest and bring charges against the actor and filmmaker for his involvement in the accident.

They have pointed out the actor’s recklessness as the cause of the incident.

According to additional information provided by Citi News, the deceased identified as Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah, were hit by the actor’s vehicle in Amakom, a suburb of Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, on Saturday, May 25.

Witnesses at the scene reported that Lilwin was driving at a high speed, which resulted in the accident.

Nana Yaw and his father were immediately taken to a nearby hospital and later transferred to Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where the young boy tragically passed away.

Mr. Ampomah is currently receiving medical treatment at the hospital’s emergency unit for a leg fracture sustained in the accident.

During an interview with the Accra-based station, a family member of the deceased mentioned that legal action is being considered due to the lack of attention given to the victims at the accident scene, with the focus primarily on the actor.

Other individuals interviewed by Citi, particularly a family, expressed their belief that the police should not protect Lilwin, real name Kwadwo Nkansah, solely based on his celebrity status, as they believed he played a role in the accident.

These individuals found it perplexing that while Lilwin received immediate assistance and was promptly taken to the hospital, Nana Yaw and his father were ignored.
