Ghanaian singer Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, professionally known as Camidoh, has made it clear that he feels no pressure to replicate the success of his hit song “Sugarcane.”

In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, Camidoh shared his thoughts on his musical journey and the industry at large. “No, I’ve never really been under pressure to make another song like ‘Sugarcane.’

“I believe I’ve been blessed with an amazing talent and I make amazing music. So, there’s no point in likening ‘Sugarcane’ to any of my works,” he stated confidently. “I believe that at the right time, my records will get the necessary attention because they are all very beautiful songs.

“If I were struggling to make music, then I believe I would be feeling that way. What God has blessed me with is a gift, so I’m not being forced to cook another ‘Sugarcane.’ Not at all.” Camidoh emphasized the importance of value communication in the music industry.

“I think our industry needs to be heavy on value communication because I believe when people appreciate and understand the value an artiste or song or the act of making music carries, they will celebrate and cherish it more,” he said.

Currently, Camidoh is promoting a remix of his single, “NLF (Nothing Last Forever),” featuring Coded of 4×4 fame. He is also working on new singles and other projects. “By working together, artistes share ideas that encourage growth, which also helps the entire industry to improve. We should really hammer more on that,” he noted.

Camidoh revealed some of his upcoming projects, including a joint single with Qwamina MP titled “Before You Go” and a feature on S3fa’s new song, “All Over.”

He has also done a few other collaborations that will be released soon. “I would urge all my fans to watch out and support these songs as well,” he added.

Camidoh’s journey in the music industry has been marked by his dedication to his craft and his belief in the value of collaboration.

His perspective on the importance of appreciating the artistry behind music is a reminder of the passion and effort that goes into creating songs that resonate with audiences.
