The actress’s accompanying post to the video of her visit to Ada’s graveside highlighted the core of their friendship, eloquently stating that true friends are those who remain in your heart, even if they are absent for some time, whether it be years apart, or after their passing.
She wrote, “TRUE FRIENDS ARE THE ONES WHO NEVER LEAVE YOUR HEART,EVEN IF THEY LEAVE YOUR LIFE FOR A WHILE,EVEN AFTER YEARS APART,YOU PICK UP WITH THEM RIGHT WHERE YOU LEFT OFF,AND EVEN IF THEY PASS THEY’RE NEVER GONE IN YOUR HEART….I THOUGHT I WAS STRONG AND WOULD SMILE TO PAY MY RESPECT BUT I JUST HAD TOO…keep resting my sweet trouble ADAAAAAAA”
Ada Ameh passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 48.
Before her passing, the actress known for her remarkable on-screen rapport with actors Aki and Pawpaw, disclosed her struggle with mental health on June 15, 2022.
She shared her experience of being assigned a role she was unable to fulfil due to her battle with mental illness.
Ameh expressed that her employer’s lack of understanding led to her filing a lawsuit against the company.
She alleged that the legal action was being pursued against her for an exorbitant sum, which she found financially insurmountable.
Despite the lawsuit’s adverse effects on her well-being, Ameh vowed to persevere, refusing to let it consume her or end her career.
Ameh, who had the tragic loss of her sole daughter in October 2020, candidly stated, “It is taking my life.”
