There is a noticeable tension in the atmosphere following Empress Gifty’s decision to run advertisements for her upcoming cooking show called ‘U Cook’ on UTV.
It seems that Nana Ama Mcbrown, who used to host Mcbrown’s Kitchen on United Showbiz, has indirectly made remarks about the new show after learning about this development.
In response, Ola Michael during his show on Okay FM on Wednesday, subtly retaliated against Mcbrown, who previously hosted United Showbiz and Mcbrown’s Kitchen before her bitter departure to Media Genera’s Onua TV.
Ola Michael stated that it was childish for Mcbrown, who also refers to herself as Empress, to throw tantrums when she does not have exclusive rights to cooking shows and prime-time entertainment programs on television.
The former filmmaker further mentioned that Empress Gifty was chosen over Mcbrown by Despite Media when they designed the United Showbiz program.
Ola mentioned that Empress Gifty even conducted promotions for the show in addition to the cooking show, which was awaiting her introduction before Mcbrown was assigned to manage it for undisclosed reasons.
Consequently, he stated that Empress is perfectly suited for the new U Cook show, and if Mcbrown is upset about it, there is nothing she can do to change the situation.
