Ailing actor Kwaku Twumasi has addressed the viral report about Nana Ama Mcbrown allegedly snubbing him at a funeral last year during an interview with Emelia Brobbey on her Okukuseku show.
Twumasi, who has been battling illness for an extended period and is gradually recovering, emphasized that the news was blown out of proportion as no such incident occurred.
He expressed his concern about the increasing prevalence of false misrepresentations in the media.
According to online portals, several notable actors from Kumasi, including Mcbrown, attended the funeral.
It was reported that while exchanging pleasantries with others amidst cheers from mourners and fans, Mcbrown allegedly ignored Twumasi when it was his turn to greet her.
The report claimed that Mcbrown intentionally started using her phone and disregarded her senior colleague in the process.
Contrary to these claims, Mr. Twumasi clarified that nothing of that sort took place.
He explained that Mcbrown left the funeral in her car, and they also departed shortly after the ceremony was concluding. This sets the record straight regarding the incident.
