Empress Gifty has shared an intriguing story about how a prophetic message inspired her upcoming song.
In a recent interview on 3Lounge, Gifty reflected on a conversation she had in February with her spiritual advisor, Prophet Eric Boahen.
“He called me and said, ‘Empress, I know you are done with your album, but there’s this song that is coming up, and that song will blow you away.’
“I initially thought I was okay with my songs, but he insisted it was something he saw in the spirit,” she recalled
After considering the Prophet’s words, Empress decided to tap into the prophecy and received the message with an open heart. By April, she had completed a project called Trec and felt a strong urge to release the new song Prophet Boahen had spoken about.
As fate would have it, Kuami Eugene, a renowned Ghanaian artist, reached out to her shortly after. “He called me and said, ‘Empress, I have this song for you, and the message is for you.’ I listened to it and realized this was indeed the song the Prophet had mentioned.”
Excited by the connection, Empress Gifty reached out to Prophet Boahen to share the news. He encouraged her, saying, “I told you. Don’t joke with that word; just pray on it and work on the song.”
Empress Gifty has released four albums to date. Her discography includes The Perfect Gift, Empress Gifty, Praise and Worship, and Light of the World.
Each album showcases her distinctive style and spiritual themes, contributing to her reputation as a prominent figure in the gospel music scene.
