Gospel singer Empress Gifty Adorye has addressed recent rumours suggesting tension between herself and actress and TV host Nana Ama McBrown.

In an interview with Ohemaa Woyeje on Angel TV, Empress Gifty made it clear that she harbours no ill will towards McBrown and doesn’t have time for unnecessary disputes at this stage in her career.

“The day I was supposed to show up for my interview with Nana Ama McBrown on Onua TV, I had a sudden emergency, so I had to pull out,” she explained, providing context for why she missed the highly anticipated appearance.

“My manager made sure to communicate with McBrown’s team that I wouldn’t be able to make it,” Empress Gifty clarified, hoping to put an end to any misinterpretations.

Empress Gifty’s comments came as she addressed recent whispers of tension, particularly over what some saw as subtle jabs by McBrown after launching her U-Cook show on UTV.

While these rumours circulated on social media, the gospel singer expressed her disbelief at the suggestion that she would engage in such petty exchanges.

“I’ve come too far in my career to waste time on trivial matters,” she said, stressing her commitment to staying focused and maintaining a positive image.
