Ghanaian rapper Edem has expressed his admiration for the openness and inclusivity Jamaican artists demonstrate when collaborating with their African counterparts.
Speaking during the Big Convo on 3Music TV, the “Pride of the Volta” shared heartfelt insights into his experiences with Jamaican musicians and their approach to fostering artistic connections.
Edem highlighted how Jamaican artists like the renowned producer Jazzwad have embraced him enthusiastically and respectfully.

The discussion came at a significant moment, as Jamaican dancehall queen Spice is currently in Ghana working on a project with Stonebwoy.
The duo is shooting a music video for their collaborative track, Jiggle & Whine, which has been generating buzz among fans of both artists.
Spice’s presence on the show, alongside Stonebwoy, added a tangible sense of unity as they delved into the importance of cross-cultural collaborations in the music industry.
Stonebwoy, a global ambassador for Ghanaian dancehall, highlighted his extensive collaborations with Jamaican artists.
