Reggae-dancehall artist Ras Kuuku has showered praise on Hon. John Dumelo for making farming more appealing to young people.
According to him, Dumelo’s dedication to agriculture has not only inspired many but also reflects the visionary leadership once seen in Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah.
“Dumelo has really earned my respect, and I really value him for his ability to project farming to make it look attractive amongst the youth,” Ras Kuuku stated, emphasizing the MP’s influence in reshaping perceptions about agriculture.

Dumelo, who serves as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has been actively involved in farming, regularly sharing videos of his work on social media.
His efforts, according to Ras Kuuku, are encouraging many young people to see farming as a viable and rewarding career.
“This is encouraging a lot of the youth to pursue farming, and I can see that he’s having the kind of spirit that was seen in Kwame Nkrumah,” he added.
The musician further highlighted Dumelo’s unique position as both a public figure and an advocate for agriculture.
“If we are talking about someone who is youthful and also a celebrity who has impacted a lot of minds about farming, then it is John Dumelo,” he concluded.
