First Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Habib Iddrisu, is facing backlash over comments he made to John Dumelo during his vetting as Deputy Minister for Food and Agriculture.
Many Ghanaians, especially those in the creative industry, believe his remarks were condescending and have called on him to apologize.
During the vetting, Iddrisu advised Dumelo to take his new role seriously and focus on supporting his Minister.
“If you go to the Ministry, try to assist your Minister. The Ministry is huge, and you should not try to jump the gun,” he stated.
