Three times he attempted suicide, once by leaping in front of an oncoming pickup vehicle on the Malava-Webuye road.
The second time, he attempted to hang himself in a shamba hut he was responsible for. The third time he attempted to ingest pills, he vomited instead.
Dr. Ofweneke secured a job at Milele FM at the age of 19, becoming the station’s youngest radio host. This was after unsuccessfully attempting a career in music. He chose to concentrate on comedy.
