President John Dramani Mahama has expressed unwavering confidence in Dr. Johnson Pandit Asiama’s ability to lead the Bank of Ghana, stating that his appointment will help rebuild trust in the institution and restore economic stability.
Speaking at a brief swearing-in ceremony at the Jubilee House in Accra, Mahama emphasized that Dr. Asiama’s leadership marks a crucial step in putting Ghana’s economy back on track.
“With Dr. Asiama heading the Bank of Ghana, I am confident that we will rebuild trust in the institution, we will restore stability and put our economy back on the path of sustained growth,” the President affirmed.
Reiterating his faith in Asiama’s capabilities, Mahama assured Ghanaians that the newly appointed governor would uphold the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency in his role.
