At the burial service of one of the girls who tragically lost her life in the East Legon accident, held on October 23, 2024, actor and politician John Dumelo made a heartfelt plea for justice.
Addressing the media, he expressed his desire for due process to be followed, urging the public not to rush to conclusions.
“I want to see justice served. I don’t want to preempt anything, but of course, an accident has occurred. Let the law take its course and see where the case goes. It’s something we should follow through,” Dumelo stated.
Families affected by the tragedy, including the bereaved parents at the burial service, have expressed grief and frustration over what some perceive as a preventable incident.
