Don’t Let Them Wear Suit And Come And Lie To You With Big English- Kennedy Agyapong

Kennedy Agyapong is marketing himself well to NPP delegates and giving enough reasons why he deserves to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to the 2024 general elections.

While revealing how he has created enough jobs for the youth in his capacity as a businessman and how he could do more if he’s empowered as the NPP flagbearer, Kennedy Agyapong advised the electorates not to be deceived by his opponents who will woo them with big English.

Speaking to some party delegates in Tema as part of his campaign to become the flagbearer aspirant of the NPP for the 2024 polls, he said:

“If you lack something, appreciate whoever has it, so that he would show you the way, it is no need being jealous. Those of you all over the place that you will create jobs, even your house girls are paid by government.

“Compared to me, who has over 7,000 workers in this country. Ask them, that they said they will create jobs and give us ease, how many people have you employed in Ghana?

“Don’t let them wear suit and come and lie to you. English we no go chop. Ibi our pockets dey speak, so when they come, take caution,” he added.

“Money can solve issues but not all issues because if it was all about money Akufo-Addo wouldn’t have become president because Mahama distributed brand new cars till chiefs also benefitted.

“At the time, we were struggling with used pickups, salt, gari, maggi cube, second-hand clothes was what we used to unseat Mahama,” he said warning his own party: “but politicians don’t learn. They don’t learn.”

Agyapong, a known financier of the NPP has serially boasted about how much monetary contributions he has made to the party since he joined in the early 90s.

Kennedy Agyapong and Adwoa Safo

Not too long ago, Kennedy Agyapong spelt out the present relationship he had with his colleague legislator and former wife Adwoa Safo.

According to him, Adwoa Safo is not his wife, and he has no influence over what she does, therefore he is growing increasingly irritated by questions of her whereabouts when she went AWOL in parliament for some time.

Kennedy Agyapong acknowledged that even though they had two children together and dated at one point, she is now an adult and married. The maverick politician made this admission on Sunyani’s Suncity Radio morning show.

“Adwoa Safo is in the United States. She is not my wife, and I only have two kids with her. She is an independent person, so it is her choice to stay wherever she is.

“I did my part, but it didn’t work, so I’m giving up. So, no one should ask me if she doesn’t come back… because she is married and I can’t get in the middle of her marriage… “I did what I could, but it didn’t work,” he said.
