The simmering feud between Nigerian businessman Cubana Chief Priest and Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy has taken a dramatic turn.
In a fiery social media post, Cubana Chief Priest accused Burna Boy of sending his men to survey his neighbourhood in Ikoyi, Lagos, an action he perceives as a threat to his safety and family.
“This na my neighborhood for Ikoyi. You drive pass my crib recording with eye symbol, you are watching me to shoot me a bit or abduct my family,” he wrote. “This is childish, dog wey dey bite no dey bark. I be Aba boy, we fight to finish.”

Cubana went on to issue a stern warning, stating that any harm to his family would escalate matters. “All your men shall fall that day if you cross my lane. Make sha nothing happens to my family. Na Ikoyi be this here no be Ikate.”
The businessman reassured his followers that he has already informed the Nigerian Police Force and is prepared for any eventuality, declaring, “@nigerianpoliceforce already have the intel so I’m ready.”
The tension stems from an ongoing online spat that began when Burna Boy referred to Cubana Chief Priest as the “Owerri Rick Ross,” a comment that sparked backlash and reignited long-standing animosity.
