Comedian DKB has been trolled following an advertisement promoting former president John Dramani Mahama’s 24-hour economy initiative.
The skit, designed to shed light on Mahama’s vision of keeping businesses and banks open around the clock, has come under fire from various political circles and members of the public.
The video, which was intended to support Mahama’s proposal, instead led to criticism from both supporters and detractors.
Members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) were quick to voice their displeasure, accusing DKB of misrepresenting the realities of a 24-hour economy.

Even within the National Democratic Congress (NDC), a small faction felt that the skit oversimplified the concept and might confuse voters.
Critics were particularly concerned that the advertisement might spread misinformation about the viability of such an initiative.
“This skit does not adequately address the complexities of running a 24-hour economy,” remarked a political commentator.
The video suggested that businesses and banks would be open 24/7, a prospect many believe is not only overly simplistic but also potentially misleading to the public.
Reacting, DKB said;
