Disney is set to bring its beloved classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” to life with a highly anticipated live-action adaptation, scheduled for release on March 21, 2025.
This reimagining of the iconic 1937 animated film promises to blend nostalgia with a modern twist, appealing to both longtime fans and new audiences.
Directed by Marc Webb, known for his work on “The Amazing Spider-Man” and “500 Days of Summer,” the film features a star-studded cast led by Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.
Zegler, who gained acclaim for her role in “West Side Story,” has expressed her excitement about taking on the iconic character, describing it as a “dream come true.”
The screenplay for the live-action adaptation has been penned by Greta Gerwig and Erin Cressida Wilson, with original songs contributed by the award-winning songwriting duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, known for their work on “La La Land” and “The Greatest Showman.”
