In a recent post, Davido indicated that he is aware of the animosity coming from fans of rival artists and has strongly suggested that he may be departing from the music industry shortly.

The influential figurehead of the 20 Billion Gang took to Twitter to inform his followers that he plans to retire from music after the release of his upcoming album.

Davido made this revelation on Thursday evening, expressing his frustration over the manipulated images and videos circulated by certain blogs to tarnish his reputation.

The acclaimed musician expressed his deep disappointment, emphasizing that there are individuals who are determined to force him out of the music industry. In response, he has decided to fulfil their wishes.

He wrote on Twitter: “Yall niggas really want me out the game that bad ?? Oya after next album I no do again . So una fit get peace”.

Davido’s frustration is probably hinged by the numerous fights he has been encountering from Wizkid and Burna Boy alongside their aggressive fans.

Recently his feud with Wizkid escalated to a different level. Tru News Report recently discovered a post on Davido’s Instagram page, where the singer has proposed a meeting with his rival to address their ongoing animosity.

Davido declared it a time for war and directly called out Wizkid, whom he referred to in a derogatory term, to confront him like a man.

In the caption of the post, Davido challenged Wizkid to select a date, and they would release new songs to gauge their popularity and worldwide reception.

Recall that Wizkid initiated the conflict by sharing an alleged video of Davido kneeling and pleading with his mistress to sleep with him.

Davido, on the other hand, used the video as an opportunity to ask his fans to beg him so that he could release a new album for them.

In response, Davido fired back, stating that he had no time for Wizkid, whose career he claimed was dead, and accused him of using their feud to gain attention and revive his own career.
