Databank Shuts Down Offices temporarily as Delayed Withdrawals Lead To Attacks On Staff

Databank has decided to shut down its offices across the country temporarily effective Tuesday, December 22, 2022.

The investment bank says this has become necessary to protect its staff from angry clients as the financial sector takes a hit that has affected withdrawals.

The bank in a statement issued on Wednesday admitted that it has been affected by the liquidity issues that have afflicted the fund management sector as a result of the “macro-economic crisis” the country is currently facing. Databank says it is unable to process withdrawal requests on time.
