Entertainment pundit Sally Mann has become known for her bold, often controversial opinions that frequently stir the pot in Ghana’s entertainment industry.
However, her behaviour has not been without criticism, with several personalities questioning the validity of her approach. One of the most vocal critics is Ghanaian radio personality DJ Berima, who recently called Sally out for being overly talkative and lacking in wisdom.
In an unfiltered statement during a recent interview, DJ Berima expressed his concern over Sally’s influence, pointing out that much of her fame seems to be driven by her penchant for drama rather than any substantial contribution to the industry.
“It’s troubling when someone becomes a public figure based on controversy,” he said. “It’s clear that controversy sells, but it doesn’t provide real value.”

Drawing on a biblical reference, DJ Berima emphasized that failing to recognize when one’s actions are harming is a foolish trait.
“If you’re walking a path that’s leading to negative consequences, and you continue down that road, what does that say about you?” he challenged.
He continued by questioning Sally’s credibility, suggesting that her brand had not been built on merit but rather on sparking constant conversations—often for the wrong reasons. “I’ve yet to see Sally do something that speaks to genuine talent or wisdom. It’s just all noise and drama,” Berima said.
Warning her that things could escalate beyond verbal exchanges, DJ Berima added, “If she keeps going down this path, it won’t just be words anymore. Things could get physical. She needs to seriously reassess how she’s engaging with people in the industry.”
