A new documentary titled Chris Brown: A History of Violence is set to premiere on October 27, delving into a series of serious allegations against American singer Chris Brown.
Among these claims is a recent accusation of sexual assault from 2020, allegedly occurring aboard a yacht owned by music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs.
An anonymous woman, known only as “Jane Doe,” shares her disturbing account of an encounter with Brown in the upcoming film, a story that has led her to speak out despite facing threats.
The documentary, previewed by People magazine, recounts Doe’s experience and the troubling details that unfolded. She reveals how, during a Miami trip in 2020, she was invited onto Diddy’s yacht by a friend and later encountered Brown.
She describes how, after receiving a drink from the singer, her memory became disjointed. “I don’t remember if I saw him pour it, but I just drank it and he handed me another drink,” she recalls.
Feeling tired and her body growing increasingly heavy, she claims she was led to a bedroom where she found herself unable to move, ultimately aware of Brown allegedly on top of her. In a tearful statement, she says, “I said ‘No,’ and then I felt him… next thing I knew he was inside me.”
Doe expressed disgust and trauma from the alleged assault and voiced frustration over victim-shaming, saying, “None of the texts disproved the occurrence of the sexual assault. I want people to realize that and stop shaming victims or calling them liars just because they love an artist they don’t even know.”
The documentary also reopens another claim from Liziane Gutierrez, who accused Brown of assaulting her in 2016. This is the first time Gutierrez has discussed the incident publicly, choosing to participate despite a signed non-disclosure agreement.
On Instagram, she explained her difficult decision to appear in the film, saying, “Liar, clout chaser, ridiculous are just some of the things I have heard since I decided to tell what happened to me.”
She expressed the importance of her story, noting that she and several other women in the documentary endured similar situations, underscoring that conversations around domestic violence should avoid bias or victim-blaming.

Brown’s attorneys have responded to these claims, strongly denying Doe’s allegations and calling the documentary’s accusations “malicious and false.”
