Hours after officially filing for divorce from her husband Offset, Cardi B made headlines by announcing her third pregnancy.
The rapper was spotted leaving a hotel in New York City on August 1, proudly displaying her growing belly in a matching grey sweatsuit.
Her bump was visible under the cropped hoodie, revealing a glimpse of her cheetah tattoo on her hip.
Carrying a grey bag on her shoulder and with her hood pulled over her head, the 31-year-old mother of two, who shares daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2, with Offset, confidently embraced her pregnancy.
Earlier that day, Cardi had taken to Instagram to share the exciting news, posting a glamorous photoshoot against the backdrop of the illuminated New York City skyline.
“With every ending comes a new beginning,” she reflected in her Instagram caption. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”
“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion,” she continued in her message to her unborn child.
“I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
