Captain Smart Reacts To Newly Acquired Train Involved In Accident On Tema-Mpakadan Railway Line

Captain Smart, born Blessed Godsbarin Smart, has expressed suspicion regarding the recently acquired train from Poland, which was involved in an accident during a test run in Ghana.

The outspoken media personality firmly believes that the government orchestrated this incident to exploit the country financially and reap the benefits.

He has voiced his concerns about the competence of the officials responsible for overseeing the locomotive test, questioning how they could have been unaware of a truck obstructing the train’s path. This oversight led to damage in the cabin area of the train.

Furthermore, he highlighted the government’s immediate response to the situation, which involved seeking insurance for the damaged train.

“You see, they have announced they are going for insurance. Yes, they are going to take the money and share it among themselves. It’s an old train and they deliberately left this thing there to take money for damages.

The truck that caused the accident

From nowhere, the truck driver decided to curve and land on the lines? In any case, those who were testing to check if the train lines were intact. Are they trying to tell us that they didn’t see the truck parked on the railway?

Locomotive test officers didn’t see this truck? They are aware; they know it was a deliberate thing.”

The host of Maakye on Onua TV further emphasized that the trains are not only old but have been rebranded to deceive Ghanaians into believing they are new.

Smart also said that the two trains were gifted to the president. According to him, these are old trains that have been rebranded and gifted to Ghana, daring the government to present it’s receipts if the said trains were paid for.

“The government didn’t pay a dime for these trains; it was a gift to them. If it’s a lie, they should publish receipts.

These trains are old trains that have been repainted and branded,” he added.
