Before he became well-known for the popular Citizen TV program, Papa Shirandula, Captain was just a young Kenyan man determined to become one of the top comedians in the nation.
Kazungu Matano became a member of Milele FM. From humble beginnings, he rose to become a highly sought-after MC, radio host, and prosperous businessman. The comic had a platform to grow during his time at KISS FM, where Caroline Mutoko, a retired broadcaster, served as his mentor. He and Mutoko got along well, and together they made the morning show the most watched in Kenya at the time.
