The mother of rapper Speed Darlington has raised serious allegations against Nigerian Afrobeats star Burna Boy and his team.
According to her, Burna Boy is responsible for the sudden disappearance of her son following a controversial video Speed Darlington made, in which he claimed Burna Boy had connections with American music mogul Diddy, which allegedly helped him win his Grammy Award.
The situation gained attention when Speed Darlington, known for his outspoken personality, vanished from social media for three days, leaving his fans worried.
His mother, distressed and desperate, took to social media to plead with the public for help, stating that her son had been abducted by Burna Boy’s team, along with police officers.
The mother explained that it was their gateman who alerted the family about what had happened, claiming that Burna Boy and his squad showed up at Speed Darlington’s residence and took him away.
Tearfully, she expressed her fear and concern, pleading with Nigerians to help her appeal to Burna Boy to release her son. “Akpi is my only son,” she said, using his nickname, as she sought empathy from the public.
