The new album by Nigerian Afro-fusion singer Burna Boy, “I Told Them,” is the first of a two-album series.

In an interview on 360 With Speedy, Burna Boy reveals his new album “I Told Them” has a part 2, but it is unclear when part two will be released.

The new album, which features collaborations with several artists, including GZA, 21 Savage, Dave, Seyi Vibez, RZA, and J. Cole, was released on August 24. The album has been highly anticipated by fans and has already received positive reviews from critics.

“I Told Them” features a total of 15 tracks, including four previously released singles: “Sittin’ On Top Of The World” featuring 21 Savage, “Big 7,” and “Talibans II” (a remix of the original song). The album showcases Burna Boy’s signature Afro-fusion sound, blending elements of Afrobeats, reggae, and hip-hop.

Before the album dropped, the African superstar made headlines when he made a comment in an Apple Music interview, turning heads and inviting roasts on social media. He said:

most of Nigerian music or Afrobeats as people call it, is mostly about nothing. Literally nothing. There is no substance to it. Like nobody is talking about anything. It is just a great time. It is an amazing time. But at the end of the day, life is not an amazing time.
