Idris Okuneye, famously known as Bobrisky, has indeed been arrested by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) as first reported by Very Dark Man, his nemesis.
The arrest, which took place at the Seme Border, has sparked widespread curiosity, especially given Bobrisky’s high-profile status and controversial public persona.

Speaking about the incident, NIS Public Relations Officer DCI Kenneth Udo revealed that Bobrisky had become a “person of interest” due to recent developments in his legal troubles.
Although the specific nature of these troubles was not disclosed, Udo mentioned that the Service had been monitoring Bobrisky’s movements prior to his arrest.
“In our efforts to maintain secure borders, the Nigeria Immigration Service intercepted Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky, at the Seme Border over an attempt to exit the country,” Udo confirmed.
He further emphasized that Bobrisky is currently undergoing interrogation and will be transferred to the appropriate authorities for further investigation.
This development has only added to the ongoing drama surrounding Bobrisky. Known for challenging Nigeria’s traditional norms on gender identity and appearance, Bobrisky’s antics have attracted both admiration and backlash.
His social media presence, where he often shares glamorous selfies and personal updates, has earned him millions of followers but has also landed him in hot water on multiple occasions.
