After serving four months in prison for violating regulations concerning naira notes, social media influencer and cross-dresser Bobrisky has been released.
Per the content of a video making rounds on various social media platforms, Bobrisky who was released on Monday, August 5, 2024, was seen warmly greeting fans who gathered to welcome him back.
In remarks to journalists following his release, Bobrisky urged Nigerians to adhere to the nation’s laws and show respect for the Naira.
He cautioned against the misuse of the currency to avoid potential imprisonment, emphasizing the importance of respecting the country’s currency at all times.
He said, “You have to follow the rules and abide by the laws. Don’t spray money, or you will become a landlord in Kirikiri.
“It is not just about killing or any criminal activity that can bring you to prison. Something light as spaying of naira can take you there.”
Bobrisky added, “I’m only focusing on my good energy right now on people who were there for me, like my friends. You see, any other person, I’m not interested. So, I don’t want to talk about them. I’m really grateful to my friends and loved ones.”
