Nigerian socialite and internet sensation Bobrisky has taken a decisive step against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other security agencies, accusing them of infringing his fundamental human rights.
In a dramatic narrative shared on social media, Bobrisky recounted an incident where he was violently removed from a plane ready for takeoff, an experience he claims left him physically and emotionally distressed.
“The EFCC and other security agencies in Nigeria are violators of human rights,” Bobrisky wrote, his frustration evident.
He further alleged that the Minister of Interior directed the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Nigeria Police to arrest and detain him without a court order, which he said worsened his existing health issues.
His account also detailed how he was transferred from the EFCC’s Lagos office to Abuja despite a pending court case related to his situation.

“It is a shame that the EFCC does not respect the court, neither do other security agencies. They act above the law, which they claim to protect and implement,” Bobrisky added, making his stance clear.
This development has led to Bobrisky filing a lawsuit against the EFCC and the National Assembly, demanding N1.2 billion in damages for what he described as unlawful detention and treatment.
He expressed a strong desire to draw global attention to what he perceives as the “trademark violations of freedom and rights” perpetuated by Nigerian law enforcement agencies.
