Beyoncé has achieved the distinction of being the second most nominated artist at the 2024 People’s Choice Country Music Awards.
Alongside Shaboozey and Kane Brown, she is making significant strides in the country music scene, earning multiple nominations for the upcoming awards.
The PCCAs announced on Wednesday that Beyoncé is in the running for People’s Artist of 2023, Female Artist of 2023, and Social Country Star of 2023, as reported by E! News.
Her track “Texas Hold ‘Em” is nominated for Song of the Year, while “16 Carriages” has received nominations for both Storytelling Song of 2024 and Female Song of 2024.
Additionally, her collaboration with Miley Cyrus, “II Most Wanted,” is up for Crossover Song of 2023, and her song “Blackbiird,” featuring prominent Black women country artists Brittney Spencer, Tanner Adell, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts, is nominated for Cover Song of 2024, along with her rendition of Dolly Parton’s classic “Jolene.”
Furthermore, her innovative country album, “Cowboy Carter,” is nominated for Album of 2023. Beyoncé faces tough competition, particularly from Shaboozey, who is also featured on her “Cowboy Carter” album.
The 29-year-old artist has had a remarkable year, highlighted by the success of his single “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
He is nominated for Album of 2023 for his project “Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going,” as well as Song of the Year for “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”
In addition to these accolades, Shaboozey has received nominations for New Artist of 2023, New Artist Song of 2024 for “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” Crossover Song of 2023 for “My Fault” featuring Noah Cyrus, and Music Video of 2023 for “Let It Burn.”
