The Ministry of Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations has written to the Attorney General, seeking legal advice on several contracts signed under its jurisdiction.
This move aligns with the President’s vision of zero tolerance for corruption and ensuring value for money in all public-private partnerships.
According to the Ministry, “The Honourable Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations in line with the President’s vision of zero tolerance for corruption and Value For Money on all public-private partnerships has written to the Honourable Minister for Justice and Attorney-General for advice on several contracts signed at the Ministry.”

The Ministry specifically seeks a legal opinion on the terms, compliance, and viability of agreements concerning the commercialisation of the e-Government Infrastructure contract by Messrs Lebara Ghana Ltd and Smart Infraco Ghana Ltd.
Additionally, the Minister has requested advice on “the Contract for the Design, Development, and Implementation of a Common Platform for Traffic Monitoring, Revenue Assurance, Mobile Money Monitoring, and Fraud Management by Messrs Kelni GVG Ltd.”
