Speaking after the event in a quick chat with Becky GH of Joy News, Kwabena Kwabena reflected on the enduring power of his music.
“It’s a blessing to see how much Aso still means to people after all these years,” he said. He shared his excitement about plans to commemorate the song’s 20th anniversary in 2025.
“We’re preparing something unforgettable, and I can’t wait for fans to experience it,” he added, noting that the celebration will coincide with his annual Valentine’s Day concert.
As the younger generation of artists continues to draw inspiration from his work, Kwabena Kwabena is full of pride. “King Promise and others have shown that Ghanaian music can evolve while staying rooted in its essence,” he said.
