ASEPA Call For The Arrest Of Rev. Kusi Boateng

, Ghana Street Journal

The Ghana Police Service’s Criminal Investigation Division has been asked to arrest Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, secretary of the National Cathedral of Ghana’s Board of Trustees, by the Association for Social Equity and Public Accountability (ASEPA).

The alliance claims that evidence presented by the Member of Parliament for North Tongu demonstrates that Rev. Kusi Boateng, also known as Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, defrauded public officials by providing them with false information in order to get national documents.

According to the petition available to Tru News Report, ASEPA claims that Rev. Kusi Boateng’s activities constitute a violation of Act 29 of the Criminal Code, and that he should be arrested and investigated.

According to the organization, it is particularly concerning that Rev. Kusi Boateng is able to utilize both names without facing any consequences.

It said that it is prepared to provide the police with any information they may require.

The appeal to ASEPA was filed when Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa disclosed more documents implicating Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, secretary of the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral of Ghana, in the employment of a false identity for illicit activities.

Ablakwa’s attorneys presented an explosive 85-page affidavit in response to the contempt application brought against their client by Rev. Kusi Boateng.

The additional evidence includes Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng’s and Kwabena Adu Gyamfi’s voter registration information and a list of their respective business registrations.

The attorneys produced two voter IDs for Kusi Boateng, one from 2016 under the name Victor Kusi Boateng and another from 2020 under the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, with the last one bearing a different age.
