In a video circulating online, former Shatta Movement (SM) member and musician Archipalago expressed his frustrations about how dancehall star Shatta Wale has treated him.
“I don’t have any issue with Shatta Wale,” Archipalago began. “But he keeps treating me like an option or a fool. If I call you and you don’t pick up, why should I call you again? I am an important person and I have a lot of important things to do with my time.”

Archipalago’s comments highlight underlying tensions within the SM camp, which has been a powerhouse in Ghanaian music, largely due to Shatta Wale’s influence and popularity. The Shatta Movement, known for its passionate fan base and energetic performances, has been a launching pad for many artists. However, it appears that not all is harmonious behind the scenes.
Archipalago, whose real name is Dennis Anane, has been an active figure in the Ghanaian entertainment scene, initially gaining fame through his social media antics and later transitioning into music.
