Stonebwoy has issued a stern warning, probably directed at Shatta Wale, emphasizing that any artist looking to engage in a clash with him must first reach his level.
This warning came in the aftermath of their clash at the Legon concert, where Wale’s performance was ultimately cancelled.
During an interview on Asaase Radio, Stonebwoy clarified that the dynamic between him and Wale cannot be classified as a mere beef, as he considers himself to be operating at a higher level.
Stonebwoy made it clear that he played no part in the concert mishap involving Shatta Wale, expressing surprise at the verbal attacks and baseless accusations directed towards him.
He concluded by stating that any artist seeking to clash with him must first elevate themselves to his level to garner his attention.
“I ain’t clashing any more. The thing is, if anybody has to clash with me with all due respect, I think you have to be on my level,” Stonebwoy said.
Concerning Shatta Wale’s UG concert which was cancelled, Stonebwoy said;
“That was really ridiculous to have heard that [I had Shatta’s show cancelled] because it’s just like waking up in the morning to being accused strongly of extra powers. You know I have power but…”
“And I have nothing at all to do with it, so I’m surprised where the accusations will be coming from,” he added.
“But I believe it’s normal, as you know, with a brother like him [Shatta Wale] to always find a way to make me look very powerful, he believes in your power.”
“That’s the only thing I can say about it because I don’t even know where to start. Like, it’s ridiculous.”
Shatta Wale resorted to his usual aggressive behaviour by verbally attacking Stonebwoy, accusing him of sabotaging his concert scheduled for June 8 at James Topp Nelson Yankah Hall (TF Hostel).
Meanwhile, Stonebwoy successfully held his concert at Liman Hall on the same day on the University of Ghana campus. Despite being excluded from the lineup, Shatta Wale was furious that the concert proceeded without him.
