Stonebwoy is preparing to hone and cultivate the emerging generation of artists within the collective known as Bhim Nation Next Generation.
This announcement was made during his interview on Asaase Radio on June 12, 2024. He characterized Bhim Nation Next Generation as an academy platform aimed at empowering and guiding aspiring young artists.
“You are going to be hearing about Bhim Nation Next Generation, which is going to be like an academy for these young ones because till yesterday everybody knows when I find a platform I’m putting guys on.”
“This is Bhim Nation Next Generation and I love to do this every time,” he said.
“It gives me joy and happiness to always uplift [others] because it reminds me of my very early beginnings and these are opportunities that were never really there. So if I am here, I feel it, I know it [and] I get that empathy, so I am definitely pushing and it’s not like pity, but I love it,” he added.
Stonebwoy previously had Kelvynboy and Okailey Verse (OV) signed to his record label Burnington Music Group (BMG).
Due to internal conflicts, Stonebwoy decided to part ways with them, as well as his manager Blakk Cedi. Kelvynboy has since established himself as a successful artist, whereas OV’s career has unfortunately declined.
In confirming their departure, Stonebwoy said: “Our decision with OV is part of our efforts to restructure the brand. If you are close to me, you’ll know my intent as a manager.
I couldn’t see a lot of things until my attention was drawn to it. Because of this, I had to re-structure. It’s in the best interest of the company that she was released. She has our support anytime, any day,”
