Ghanaian musician and transgender advocate, Angel Maxine, has pledged to confront Amanda Jissih regarding her recent remarks about cross-dressers during an interview.
Amanda, an on-air personality and pundit, expressed her views on United Showbiz on UTV, stating that cross-dressers are essentially gay individuals.
She contended that these cross-dressers, particularly those in the content creation sphere, are homosexuals masquerading as straight.
Maxine’s reaction to Amanda’s comments has been one of significant anger, and she has declared her intention to challenge Amanda if she continues to make such erroneous statements in the future.
In a video shared by blogger Mari Gyata, Maxine, a prominent figure in the fight for LGBTQ+ rights, revealed that she possesses information about Amanda and has threatened to disclose it if Amanda continues her uninformed comments regarding the LGBTQ+ community.
“Amanda, I heard your ignorant comments about LGBT+ to revive your dying career. Why not use your platform to fight galamsey? You’re irrelevant and only showing how uninformed you are. You claim cross-dressers are what?”
“Do you want us to expose you on social media? Do you know the secrets I have about you since you made that statement? Don’t try it. Do you have proof that cross-dressers are gay?” Maxine said in Twi.
