Ghanaian actor and comedian Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, has joined the campaign of Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, who is running for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential race.

Agya Koo, a well-known NPP activist, says that campaigning for Kennedy Agyapong is now more important than ever because he thinks Agyapong has the leadership skills needed to fix the country’s problems.

In an interview with Kumasi’s Sompa FM, the actor asked party delegates to support the MP for Assin Central. He said that 90% of Ghanaians want Kennedy Agyapong to be president.

“We owe it to the NPP community to take care of ourselves.” “A number of Ghanaians have been calling me, and I listen to them, and it seems clear that they want Kennedy Agyapong to be president; therefore, I’m making an appeal to the delegates to vote for him.”

“Look at how many jobs he’s created even though he’s out of power.” He has already stated that he will drive his own vehicles to the office and return them to his garage when he leaves the office. “It is common knowledge among NPP supporters that he has helped the party financially and otherwise,” he said.
