North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has released more evidence against Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng, the secretary to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral of Ghana, whom he has accused of using a false identity for illegal acts.

Mr. Ablakwa accused the Rev. Minister of using multiple passports with different names and dates of birth. He also accused him of having two Tax Identification Numbers (TIN) in violation of the Ghana Revenue Authority’s requirements.

On Monday, January 16, the MP made allegations against Rev. Kusi-Boateng, saying he’s among the three directors of JNS Talent Centre but uses the name, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi. The MP said payment of GHS2.6 Million of cathedral funds was sent to a company called JNS Talent Centre Limited and the company is owned by Rev. Johannes Eshun who describes himself as the spiritual son and protégé of Rev. Kusi-Boateng.

Okudzeto Ablakwa was charged with contempt of court after he was found in violation of a restraining order prohibiting the publication of Rev. Kusi Boateng’s personal information and other documents.

The new evidence included information from voter registration records and a list of businesses registered to Rev. Victor Kusi Boateng and his alias, Kwabena Adu Gyamfi.

Attorneys for Kusi Boateng presented two voter IDs, one from 2016 under the name Victor Kusi Boateng and another from 2020 under the name Kwabena Adu Gyamfi, with the latter bearing a different date of birth. The Office of the Registrar of Companies lists eight businesses under the name Adu Gyamfi and another eight under the name Rev. Kusi Boateng.
