According to TMZ, singer Adele took a moment during her major concert in Germany to catch the women’s 100-meter final at the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris, France.
The US superstar was performing in Munich on Saturday when she paused her show to watch the race, which was displayed on the large screens in the stadium.
As the race commenced, the audience fell silent, and it took just under 11 seconds for Julien Alfred from Saint Lucia to clinch the gold medal.
American athletes Sha’Carri Richardson and Melissa Jefferson secured the silver and bronze medals, respectively.
After the race, Adele resumed her performance, but it was evident that the excitement of Paris was on her mind, much like many of her celebrity peers.
Notable figures such as Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams, Nicole Kidman, Rebel Wilson, Jessica Chastain, Livvy Dunne, Ariana Grande, John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Flavor Flav, and Sarah Jessica Parker have also been spotted enjoying the festivities in the City of Light.
Adele will continue her performances in Munich, with two shows scheduled each week until the end of the month.
