Ghanaian musician Adane Best opened up about his views on fellow artist Kuami Eugene, particularly addressing claims that Eugene has sampled several of his songs without permission.
Although Adane Best did not specify the songs, he stated, “Anybody who knows and understands music very well will know that once you hear a sound or music, you will know that it originates from somewhere.”
He acknowledged the issue as an “old” one, expressing a desire to move past it: “I have forgiven him. I have wronged others before, so when someone wrongs me, like Kuami Eugene, I let it go.”
Adane Best praised Eugene’s talent, saying, “Kuami Eugene is good, very, very good, and I commend him,” while also urging him to keep learning and growing as an artist.
